The Slang Dictionary

Welcome! The Slang Dictionary is a searchable archive of slang terms collected by Linguistics 101 students at the University of Oregon. Each entry is also linked to a description of the social group from which it was collected (i.e. an explanation as to who uses the word or phrase.)

Registered users can contribute to the project by adding commentary to existing entries. To become a registered user, email Eric Pederson, epederso@uoregon.edu. Linguistics 101 students are automatically registered and are encouraged to add comments.
